There are 4 pathways to obtain your qualification: Classroom BaseThe Master Builders runs weekend classes throughout NSW on a regular basis utilising trainers with many years of hands-on, current industry experience. The Master Builders will provide all necessary notes and instructions to participants to complete their assessment tasks for each unit of the qualification. To be awarded the full qualification the participant must be deemed competent in all assessment tasks in all units. In the event that a participant is deemed "not yet competent", the Master Builders will work with that participant until they achieve competency or issue a statement of attainment for the units they are found competent in. Qualifications provide classroom base learning include: Assessment of Current CompetenciesThis pathway has been specifically designed for those individuals operating within the building & construction industry who can demonstrate extensive and relevant experience including management and supervisory skills. Alternatively, a number of assessment tasks (assignments) may be required to be completed to fill any skills gaps and may be combined with face to face units if required. An initial interview is free of charge with participants advised whether it is worthwhile proceeding with an assessment or if the participant should register for the face to face pathway. The initial interview will often determine if a participant is suitable for the assessment pathway. The fee structure will range from: Certificate IV in Building & Construction: A minimum of $3500 to $6700 depending on the number and price of any additional units and or assessments.
